ShunDi Foods Has Achieved Recognition Against SAI Platform’s Farm Sustainability Assessment (FSA)
ShunDi Foods is proud to announce that its Zhejiang vegetable base and Shanghai mushroom base achieve equivalence recognition against the Sustainable Agriculture Initiative (SAI) Platform’s Farm Sustainability Assessment (FSA). This achievement underscores ShunDi’s dedication to advancing sustainable agriculture and supporting customers in their journey toward more responsible sourcing.
The Farm Sustainability Assessment (FSA) is a globally recognized framework developed by the SAI Platform to assess, improve, and validate the sustainability of agricultural supply chains. With its focus on environmental stewardship, efficient resource use, labor rights, and safe working conditions, the FSA provides a comprehensive benchmark for responsible farming practices.
As a dried ingredient manufacturer with 8,000 acres of its own farms, ShunDi strictly manages all its farms according to Good Agricultural Practices (GAP). During the two-day rigorous audit, the expert team conducted a comprehensive on-site evaluation of both farming bases, covering key aspects such as management systems, management reviews, internal audit records, and more. They also carried out field inspections and randomly interviewed farmers. Thanks to ShunDi's long-standing commitment to sustainable farming practices and high-standard management systems, the company successfully passed the certification audit.
"We will take this opportunity to further invest in optimizing farm management," said the head of ShunDi Foods. "and we will continue providing safer, healthier, and more sustainable high-quality agricultural products to our global customers."
We invite global partners to explore more possibilities for sustainable development and create a better future together!
