Supporting Healthier Garlic Production Through Regenerative Agriculture

Since 2024, Shundi has been advancing a regenerative agriculture project in China's major garlic-growing region of Shandong Province. The project focuses on improving soil health, increasing resource-use efficiency, and strengthening the long-term resilience of garlic production, helping build a more sustainable and reliable garlic supply chain.

Organic Fertilizer as a Key Project Practice
The application of organic fertilizer is one of the core practices within the project. To support participating growers, Shundi provides organic fertilizer free of charge while offering agronomic training, soil assessment, and field technical guidance. These combined efforts help farmers adopt more science-based fertilizer management practices and reduce reliance on conventional fertilization methods, improving the long-term productivity of their farmland.
The project also places strong emphasis on continuous field support. By monitoring on-farm implementation and collecting feedback from participating growers, Shundi provides practical recommendations tailored to the conditions of individual fields. Through ongoing guidance and follow-up, the project encourages farmers to move beyond one-time fertilizer applications toward more systematic and sustainable soil management practices.
