• 1.Is Shundi a manufacturer or a trading company?

  We are a manufacturer with more than 30 years of experience in dried food ingredients manufacturing and international B2B supply. We have production facilities and farming bases across China, with different locations specializing in specific raw materials, products, and processing technologies. We also operate dedicated R&D and sales centers.

• 2.What food ingredients does Shundi supply?

  We supply a wide range of dried food ingredients, including dried fruits and vegetables, dried mushrooms, dried spices and herbs, in different cutting sizes such as flakes, granules, and powder. We can also supply IQF fruits and vegetables, and some spice pastes.

• 3.What are Shundi's core products?

  Our core products are air-dried spices, including dehydrated garlic flakes, garlic powder, dehydrated onion flakes, onion powder, and dried mushrooms.
  Dried garlic products are our primary product line. With our own farming base and production facility in Shandong, China's largest garlic-growing region, we benefit from direct access to quality raw materials and efficient local processing.
  Freeze-dried mushrooms, vegetables, and fruits are also our core products.

• 4.What processing technologies does Shundi use?

  We use air drying (AD), freeze drying (FD), drum drying (DD), spray drying (SD), and IQF (individual quick frozen). We also have steam sterilization, tubular sterilization, and retort equipment.
  
  Air Drying (AD)
  
  Air drying uses controlled hot air to remove moisture from food ingredients. It is widely used for garlic, onions, chili peppers, mushrooms, and vegetables. AD is suitable for large-scale production and offers a practical balance between product quality and cost.
  
  Freeze Drying (FD)
  
  Freeze drying first freezes the product and then removes moisture under vacuum at low temperatures. This process helps preserve the original shape, color, flavor, and many nutritional characteristics of the raw material. It is suitable for premium fruits, vegetables, mushrooms, and other high-value ingredients.
  
  Drum Drying (DD)
  
  Drum drying spreads a food material into a thin layer on the surface of a heated drum, where it is rapidly dried and then scraped off. It is commonly used for fruit and vegetable ingredients, purees, flakes, and powders, and can provide good control over texture and solubility.
  
  Spray Drying (SD)
  
  Spray drying converts liquid ingredients or concentrates into fine powder by spraying them into a stream of hot air. The moisture evaporates rapidly, leaving a dry powder. It is widely used for fruit and vegetable powders, extracts, and other liquid-based food ingredients.
  
  IQF (Individual Quick Freezing)
  
  IQF uses rapid freezing to freeze individual pieces of fruits or vegetables separately, rather than freezing them into one solid block. This helps maintain product shape, texture, and convenience, making IQF suitable for frozen fruits and vegetables used by food manufacturers and foodservice customers.

• 5.Where are Shundi's production facilities located?

  Our key production facilities are located in Shanghai and Shandong, China, each specializing in different processing technologies and product categories. They combine advanced processing capabilities with strong regional sourcing advantages.
  
  Shanghai Shundi – Freeze-Dried Fruits & Vegetables
  
  Our Shanghai facility focuses on freeze-dried fruits and vegetables. Annual production capacity: 30,000 tons. Covering 36,700 m², the facility has four independent production workshops equipped with advanced freeze-drying systems, IQF freezing lines, automated processing and packaging systems, and Swiss steam sterilization technology. These capabilities support high-quality production across premium freeze-dried fruit and vegetable ingredients.
  
  Shandong Shundi – Dehydrated Spices & Vegetables
  
  Our Shandong facility specializes in air-dried (AD) garlic, onions, chili peppers, and other dehydrated ingredients. Annual production capacity: 10,000 tons. Covering 16,000 m², the facility is equipped with automated continuous drying systems, intelligent AI color sorting and inspection systems, automated cleaning and cutting lines, and advanced spice processing lines. Located in a major spice-producing region, it offers strong advantages in raw material sourcing and supply stability.

• 6.Where are Shundi's farming and sourcing bases located?

  We have several farming and sourcing bases across China, covering key raw materials including garlic and onion, mushrooms, vegetables, and herbs. These bases are located in regions with strong advantages in specific crops and natural resources.
  
  Mushroom Base – Shanghai
  
  We operate a modern mushroom growing base with 64 smart cultivation houses in Shanghai. Button mushrooms are our main variety, along with other cultivated mushrooms. Fresh mushrooms are delivered directly to our processing facilities for dried mushroom and mushroom powder production. The base completed verification under the Farm Sustainability Assessment (FSA) for sustainable production and responsible resource management.
  
  Garlic Base – Shandong
  
  Our garlic farming base is located in Juye County, Jinxiang County, and Chengwu County, Shandong, in the heart of China's largest garlic-growing area. The area has extensive newly developed garlic fields and favorable conditions for producing high-quality garlic. It is also a major production area for onions and chili peppers. We practice regenerative agriculture here, applying sustainable farming practices such as soil nutrient management and responsible fertilizer use to improve soil health and support long-term garlic production.
  
  Integrated with our Shandong Shundi production facility, the base connects sourcing and processing, giving us greater control over raw material quality, traceability, and production efficiency for dried garlic, dried onions, dried chili peppers, and other dehydrated spices.
  
  Vegetable Base – Zhejiang
  
  Our vegetable farming base is located in Lihai, Yuecheng, Shaoxing, Zhejiang Province, covering 533 hectares. The main crops include broccoli, cauliflower, green asparagus, spinach, carrots, and scallions, providing fresh raw materials for our dried and processed vegetable ingredients.
  
  Herb & Wild Mushroom Base – Yunnan
  
  Our herb and wild mushroom base is located in Nanhua County, Chuxiong Yi Autonomous Prefecture, Yunnan Province, a region known for its favorable climate, rich biodiversity, and abundant natural resources. Our raw materials from this base include basil, mint, rosemary, thyme, oregano, parsley, coriander leaf, dill, sage, and chives, as well as specialty wild mushrooms such as porcini, chanterelles, matsutake, morels, and black truffles.

• 7.Is Shundi a B2B bulk supplier or a retail company?

  We are a B2B food ingredients manufacturer, specializing in bulk supply for retail food manufacturers, ingredient companies, distributors, and other commercial buyers. We supply ingredients for applications such as seasonings, soups, sauces, snacks, ready meals, instant foods, and plant-based foods, with both standard products and customized solutions available.
  We do not sell directly to individual consumers or operate a retail e-commerce store.

• 8.What countries does Shundi export to?

  We export to more than 40 countries and regions worldwide, serving customers across Europe, North America, Japan and Korea, Southeast Asia, South America, and other international markets.

• 9.Does Shundi provide OEM and ODM services?

  Yes. We provide OEM and ODM services, including customized specifications, processing requirements, and packaging. We can also provide small packaging service.

• 10.Can Shundi develop a customized food ingredient?

  Yes. We have a professional R&D team including PhD-level researchers, with expertise in food science, ingredient processing, and product development. Customers can share their requirements with us, and our R&D team will evaluate the most suitable solution.

• 11.What certifications do you have?

  Our quality and food safety management systems are supported by international certifications and standards, including BRC, HACCP, ISO 22000, HALAL, KOSHER, and SEDEX.

• 12.What is Shundi's minimum order quantity (MOQ)?

  Our standard MOQ is:
  Freeze-dried products: 500 kg
  Air-dried and other products: 1,000 kg
  For first orders, we are open to discussing more flexible arrangements.

• 13.Can I request samples before placing a bulk order?

  Yes. Free product samples are available. Customers only need to cover the express shipping cost, which can be deducted from the subsequent bulk order.

• 14. What is the typical lead time for Shundi products?

  For ready-stock orders, delivery is typically within 15 days. For OEM and ODM orders, the typical lead time is around 25–30 days. Actual lead times may vary depending on the product, quantity, packaging requirements, and production schedule.
